I have a folder containing Client information that sits in my \users\
folder. It is called Client.pst. I have it in my outlook as an open folder. Last night before I shut down my machine, I was able to access, copy to and read from this folder. Today, I boot up and I receive the attached error message. It says I do not have permissions. I did yesterday and the only thing that has occurred is a power down, 12 hours of time passage, and a boot up. Reboot does not solve the problem. The Security tab on the folder says all users, all admins, everyone, has full permission. I need this data today. Does anyone have a solution. Rikk |

Well, it's a day late, but, were you able to move the pst to a different location and open it from there? I'd also point out that your statement "I have a folder containing Client information that sits in my \users\ folder. It is called Client.pst. I have it in my outlook as an open folder." seems to be wrong based on the error. The PST is ClientFile.pst and it's in your Documents folder. -- f.h. |

The naming incongruity was a typo. I had renamed the file incase the word
'client' was forbidden. The problem is fixed. It turned out to be a rogue application of a 'read only' check mark that mysteriously was not applied by me. I am looking for gremlins. Rikk "F. H.
