Default OST - PST??

I have all my old mails stored in a folder for which the format is .ost,
however when i want add those files to my outlook through data management
file i get only 1 option of adding .pst files. How can i retrieve my old
outlook mails?

kindly help its urgent.

What t ype of mail server? An OST should be nothing more than a copy of
what existed on the server the last time you connected to it, so you should
just be able to reconnect to the server and see your mail. Was your account
on the server accidentaly deleted? The Server Admins should be able to
restore your mailbox.
