When I test my AOL settings the test is successful, but I cannot actually
send or receive emails. |

Are there any error numbers associated? What version of Outlook? Are you
connected to the AOL network when you try to send/received AOL email? Do you have your antivirus/antispam software scanning incoming/outgoing email? -- Kathleen Orland - MVP Outlook Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "jmb" wrote: When I test my AOL settings the test is successful, but I cannot actually send or receive emails. |

Kathleen, Thanks for your response. I'm up and running. I ended up having to
purge all data entered and then re-enter. I don't know why that worked, since I'd already done that twice before. The only difference was, this last time; I first entered AOL data then EarthLink data was entered last. Again thanks so much for your time and knowledge. In case you are interested, I'll answer your questions: -no error #s. -Outlook 2003 -both; I've tried w/ EL and AOL opened and closed. That made no difference. (It was on when it finally worked.) -both, I tried with my antivirus on and off. That too made no difference. (It was on when it finally worked.) "K.
