Well, I can always snip out unneeded info on a top post as well, so that it
isn't hard to follow, like so... Also, if you really want to get nitpicky ("you" being anybody), I am posting to a web community, which just so happens to also be a portal to a Usenet newsgroup...so I could say the conventions are different here and I don't have to conform to any Usenet conventions. Personally, I would rather see *only* top posting or *only* bottom posting but I think eventually top posting is going to become the norm. Till then, there's always going to be a mixed environment. Why Microsoft chose top posting as a default, I have no clue. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Notan" wrote: With all due respect, the problem is when posters, such as yourself, mix top and bottom posting, making the whole thing rather difficult to follow. -- Notan |

I certainly hope you are right in predicting that top-posting will
win! I LOVE top-posting; I've been a devot?e for a decade now. It makes it so easy to read new posts without scrolling.
