I am currently using Eudora which has the neat feature of being able
to selectively delete individuals messages from the POP server. Does
this feature exist in outlook or is there a plug in that can duplicate
this feature?

You can set Outlook to download Headers only for a certain size of message -
I think you can then mark those headers for deletion, and then delete them.

Outlook must download something in order to determine whether or not it
should be kept. However, there are third-party tools like Mailwasher
(http://www.mailwasher.net/) that can help you do that.
