I am running OL2003 on Vista and everything has been running OK and this
evening I find that all the password fields in E-mail accounts are blank. I
have Window defender running and Virus checker found nothing.

All thoughts appreciated.

Well, this was not the only thing that happened. I am not sure why all
passwoed fields went blank. But I had a number of other problems.

I could not send mail (receive mail, browse web was OK). BT was very
secretive about the problems they were having. I spent a whole day with my
ISPs to find that port 25 used for SMTP server was blocked. A day later
there was a recorded message on T status line advising people using Windows
mail to use port 587 instead of 25. I was using Outlook but I thought what
the hell I will change my port setting to 587 as well - it worked.

Second problem I had was that date on one of the client computer changed to
October 2007. Another one could not log into domain.

Virus checkers and Windows defender reported nothing. It is now all working
but not knowing the reason does worry me because it could happen again if I
do not eliminate the cause.
