Hello, I have a problem with my Outlook 2007. WHen ever i search for
anything, I dont get very meny hits, even tho they meet what i'm searching for. I get some, but my older emails never come up on the results, i've narrowed it down to around the time i upgraded/installed office 2007. can anyone tell me how to fix this, or how to manually reindex the folders? TIA Drew |

You may have to get Outlook to search your archive folders. Check your indexing status. If it says it is complete, then get it to
rebuild. That will take a long time but it should pick everything up then. The only other thing is that when you search, at some time in the past you may have enforced a limit as to how long back you go for searching. Check the advanced search options. How exactly do you force it to reindex?

Go to Control Panel and Indexing Options. In there is the click button to
make it rebuild. "Drew Boillot" wrote in message ... How exactly do you force it to reindex? "Diamontina Cocktail" wrote in message ... Check your indexing status.
