Outlook data file (PST)

I want to create a new outlook data file (PST) in MS Outlook 2003. I was
asked to select the "Type of storage:",

Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst)

What are the difference and which one should i select? Any file size
limitation?

Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)

Has not file size limitation (20 GB and more). Implemented first in
Outlook 2003.

Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst)

Has a file size limitation (2 GB). Provided in Outlook 97-2002

Hi 2Sweet,

have a look on this sites:

"Description of the purpose and capacity of Outlook storage facilities till
Outlook 2002"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/208480/en-us

"The .pst file has a different format and folder size limit in Outlook 2007
and in Outlook 2003"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/830336/en-us

Maybe it helps.
