Default Delete mail from server?

Is there a setting where I can tell Outlook not to delete mail from the
server after downloading it? Can I set a time frame for it to do so?

Thanks, Bob

If you have a pop account - Tools account settings change email setting
more settings advanced tab Leave copy on message server. These

instructions will vary somewhat depending on your version of Outlook

Do you know if you can also do this with the email program that come
standard with Vista? I guess they don't call it Outlook Express any longer.
(I'm waiting for a reply from that group).

Thanks... Bob

Do you know if there is any downside to leaving the mail on the server for
7-10 days so it will still be there when I log on with the laptop?

I leave my mail on the server for 30 to 60 days depending on the quota that
the ISP has for the account. Having it on server allows me to see the same
email from multiple computers or from and computer that has access to the
web
