New Stationery for Outlook 2003

Hello all
I created an HTM file using the edit stationery option off the tools menu.
The file looks ok when I open it in internet explorer 6 but the gif file
does not show up when I open it up a new message with outlook. I just get an
empty picture box.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance
Jonathan

Normally images must reside on a server, especially if they are to be viewed
by the recipients.

Did you include the full pathlist to the image or just the name of the
image? Use the full pathlist and the image can reside anywhere on your
computer. IMG src="file:///folder_name\image_name.gif" title="some text"
border=0 would be an example. If you want, you could also use the full
URL to the image on a web site but it would be best if it were your web site
though it doesn't normally have to be that way.

I found out the problem. The OL stationary resides in the stationery folder
under program files but for some reason NEW stationery is put under
Documents and Settings. When I put the GIF file in the same folder as the
new stationery I created, it worked.

Thanks to all who took the time to respond.
