How to send out email blasts using an .html file
Hello,
I've been setting up email blasts using MS Word and then going Tools / Letters & mailings / Mail Merge but I am limited to what I can do in MS Word in terms of formatting. So, I've just created my first .html page in Dreamweaver that I want to send out but I don't know how to now merge this into Outlook to send out. Can someone please tell me how to get this started? I need to know how to get the greeting line, etc in my .html document - do I just go back into MS Word and import the .html file and then follow the same steps? Or do I need MS Word at all? Thank you! |

How to send out email blasts using an .html file
Hi Tx,
I'm not too familiar with Dreamweaver but if the file is saved as .html ot ..htm you can still merge the data to outlook. First, which ver. of Outlook are you using? I'm doing a mass email merge right now which I can tell you how. The only problem is I'm having problems with the CC: and BCC: field. So, if you need to CC: or BCC: someone then I'd have to get some answeres first. But if the CC: and BCC: is not an issue to you then just do the following: http://office.microsoft.com/training...RC011205671033 Hope this helps. -- Sincerely, Wen "TxWebdesigner" wrote: Does anyone here have experience creating mail merges using Outlook 2003 and ..html files created with Dreamweaver?
