E-mail files created on C: drive?
I have a PC with Office 2007, and Norton Internet Security. Things seem to
be working, but we've noticed several strange files being created on the root of the C: drive. These files are named s2e4, s2e4.1, s2e4.1a, s2e4.1b, etc. I am able to open these files with Notepad, and they seem to be .txt version of e-mail messages that were received. They don't seem to be causing any problems that I know of, but does anyone know what is creating these files? |

Do not scan incoming or outgoing mail with Norton. Disable the mail integration. -- Brian Tillman |
