Outlook 2007 SEND button behavior

Hi
Outlook 2007
After I compose a new message (or create a reply message) I click the SEND
button on the left and it sends the message only to the Outbox. Then I have
to click the Send/Receive to have the message sent. Can I change that Send
button behavior so I don't have press 2 buttons to send a message?

Thanks
Burton Roberts
