Weird NK2 entry deletions

So whenever this one Outlook user sends an email that bounces, the
corresponding entry for that recipient in the NK2 file is deleted.
Very weird. Anyone else run into this and figure out a cause/solution?

TIA

I don't see how that's possible. I tested this and what you say happens
doesn't. Addresses are added to the NK2 file when they resolve (i.e.,
become underlined). They don't leave the NK2 file unless you delete them.

Probably not an accurate description or correct assumption. Most likely the
entry goes missing for an entirely different reason, like a corrupt profile
or NK2 file.
