Repeated sending from Outlook 2007
Several times recently I have sent an email with attachments that sits in my
Outbox as if its not being sent but is actually being sent repeatedly, much to the annoyance of the recipient. Any ideas? |

Do you receive an error at the end of the sending process? It might be that

It just keeps doing a send and receive but not removing the item from the
Outbox - btw i'm using Vista Business. No error message and it only seems to happen with large attachments. "Vince Averello [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... Does your SMTP (outgoing mail server) allow attachments that large to be
sent? "David Price" wrote in message ... It just keeps doing a send and receive but not removing the item from the Outbox - btw i'm using Vista Business. No error message and it only seems to happen with large attachments. |

I have no problem like this with Outlook 2003 on XP. Its only since I

Any ideas? 1) DIsable all mail scanning by your antivirus program. 2) Lengthen the server tiomeout value on the Advanced tab of your account properties. 3) Lenghten the send/receive interval. -- Brian Tillman |
