Version of Outlook?
Type of Mail Server?
If pop/imap, does it go if you do a Send/Recieve?
Did it ever work?
Any known changes between it working and not working (software installs,
software removals)?

It is Microsoft office Outlook 2003 which came with the student and teacher's edition. The mail server type is pop.

Have not installed any new software.
Yes it did work perfectly up until yesterday.
No new changes have occurred to the system since this problem has started.

Thank you for your assistance.

Has the system been rebooted since the problem started? What happens when
you do a Send/Receive on the account, do you get any dialog boxes?
