Default BUG: New emails dont show in inbox

Outlook 2007 has been a dog so far. Slow performance on a very fast
mahcine, addins that dont work, and now the worst of them all - new
messages to my inbox show as being there but do not appear if I'm
looking at my inbox. So for example, I've got 3 folders - inbox and
then two other subfolders "business" and "farming." My view is on
inbox itself. I hit send/receive and I'll get messages. I'll have 2
new messages in inbox, which is bold, but i cannot see them. I have to
click on business or farming to view that folder and then when I click
back to inbox they suddenly appear.

This is a horrible bug. I'm sure others dont get it but this is what
I'm seeing. Running XP and a relatively large PST. Outlook 2003 was
light years faster and with less clutter even though it's well
organized. What happened to the small icons too?

Sound like you may have two PSTs? Have you recreated your mail profile?

Default New emails dont show in inbox

No - I have only one PST open. The other folders I refer to are just
the product of creating a new folder in Outlook and dropping them in
the inbox. Maybe it is important to note that this is an upgrade from
Outlook 2003.

Colors are nice but performance is very slow all around. Even viewing
emails that you've clicked on. After rebooting again now it's
working... somewhat. I see 8 new emails in the bold text for my inbox
but only 4 are showing... moving to another folder, back to the inbox,
yes, now it updates.

It appears that Outlook is not updating properly.

I'm not a complainer but Outlook 2007 is noticeably slower than 2003.
Did anyone test this before it went out? Of course they did but
searching Google it seems there are many others with the slowness
issue...

I answered that in a later post of yours.
