For those in the American continent.

Hi there,

This is an unusual request however I hope that those in the American
continent can please help me out here.

One of my co-workers claims that they cannot reach our web site. This seems
quite unusual however I don't have anyone in America to test this out. I
have accesses this web site in Asia and in Europe so I cannot see as to why
not the USA.

Could I please have a few people in the USA, Canada etc. please advise back
if they can reach this web site. A few responses would be sufficient.

Thanking you all for your help

Kindest Regards

Tom

a) I can ping www.windana.org.au and it resolves to 61.8.0.57.
b) I can telnet to www.windana.org.au port 80 and it answers.
c) Sorry, but I'm not about to actually browse to a URL just randomly
posted to a newsgroup saying 'Can anyone get here?'
d) What does this have to do with outlook?
e) I'd recommend working with the people who can't access your site and
determining their DNS server, see if they can resolve a name to an IP
address, and see what else they can and can't do.

Those are correct and thanks.

Sounds fair and I seemed to have forgotten this

However this is a legitimate non profit organisation for rehabilitation of
drugs to the local youth population.

You can verify with a google search of "Windana Society"

d) What does this have to do with outlook?

Nothing. I just chose a group that is used by those who are likely to be IT
minded than that usual rabble.

I just had a co-worker that was in the states for a few months who mentioned
that she cannot access the site. Since she has came back, I cannot
determine her issues with the local computer she used there so it would be
meaningless to spill that out to someone that is not knowledgeable with
computers and IT.

However thanks for your quick response.

I am in Florida, USA and I have no trouble viewing the Windana web site.

On another note, I served with a bunch of guys from Australia in Viet Nam,
and they were a great bunch of guys.
