Default PST file cyclic redundancy check - Help!

When i start Outlook, it cannot open my PST file. It says "Data Error
(cyclic redundancy check)" and then just stops. I tried running chkdsk on
the drive, and it did not find problems. When i ran scanpst.exe, Windows
crashed and blue-screened.

Is there anything else i can do to attempt to recover this PST file?

Thank you. Tom.

The CRC error is usually indicative of a disk problem where the PST is
stored. Run chkdsk /r to try to replace the bad cluster and then run scanpst
again.
