OneInTen,
Are you using Word as your e-mail editor?

You might want to edit your Custom Dictionary in Word.

FWIW, word is the only editor for Outlook 2007.

it should work fine in Outlook but is screwed up in OE.

Are you adding a signature? If so, make sure you type in at the top of the
message form. If you type in the signature block, it may not spell check
properly.

Can you do the following in Word: Office button menu, Word Options,
Proofing and see if the settings look right? If they do, try again if it
works.

Thanks for the reply

The settings look OK but it seems the problem is in Word, since when I try
to create a new document and I intentionally make spelling errors, the
program doesn't catch them

Any pointer what I should do next?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

The spelling checking doesn't work in Word. I reinstalled the program but I
still have the issue.

Well, I followed the instructions for fixing the OE issue and it fixed the
Word 2007 problem. That shouldn't be like that though right?

Thanks

Costas
