You don't happen to be running Snag It or Plaxo do you? These are both known
to cause this problem. Not all Add Ins are compatible with all versions of Outlook or really compatible at all. Norton can cause this problem too, both the Office Add In and also scanning of incoming outgoing email. -- Kathleen Orland Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "Folstaff" wrote: Event ID: 1000 Source: Microsoft Office 11 Both apps appear to be 32 bit. One of the workstations in my office was getting the same exact error, the
only difference is that the outlook version was 11.0.5510.0. The only way I got it to run again after trying to delete the outcmd, dat, extend.dat, all temp files deleting Office 2003, was to go into the registry and under the Current User and Local Machine keys and delete the references to Office 11 and Outlook under the Microsoft Office Headings. I also completely delete the Microsoft Office Folder under Program Files manually to make sure nothing was left in it from before.
