Outlook deletes messages after two weeks

Outlook 2003 is automatically deleting (or, at least, they vanish from
my inbox) inbox mail that is more than two weeks old. How can I
prevent this?

click on Tools, Options, Other, AutoArchive - and you will see the settings
there.

OK - I'll try extending that to every three weeks. However, the
vanished emails don't appear in my archive folders.
