Default Export then Import??

I want to transfer my contact list to my laptop. I am using Outlook 2002.
Should I export it then import it into my laptop? What exactly will be
imported and will the PST file automatically be changed? I don't care about
copying the folder that are holding some emails. Thanks

Just copy your .pst file

In Outlook 2003 (must be similar in 2002): File menu, Data file management,
select a data file, settings, filename. usually it is

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

Exit Outlook, find the file in Windows explorer (make sure your options
allow you to view Hidden Files and Folders), copy it to your laptop
