Default "ON behlaf of"

Hello all,

I got a message sent to me from a professional society here and it is
sent to many ppl not just me (using CC). I noticed lots of replies to
ME and in their replies the message came from me with the "from" field
being "Sent on behalf etc etc".

What is this? Nobody knows why this happened and can't be a virus
since I have lots and lots of protection.
