Default E-Mail Templates in Outlook 2003

Hi All,

Is there a way that we can personalise email templates in Outlook 2003?
For example, in the e-mail template we want to have "Dear person'sname"
rather than addressing everyone in the same way "Dear pariticpant".

If there isnt a way, could anyone recommend how they are working around
this issue? this is a really important feature that we require.

Will outlook 2007 support personalised email templates?

thankyou, Maria K.

Default E-Mail Templates in Outlook 2003

Ok, i dont think I made my requirements clear.

We need to create an email template that can be distributed to 40
people at once, but we want the email to be personalised to each of
these people.

How can we do this?

thanks, Maria K

Or I didn't make myself clear. Outlook doesn't support that capability other
than through mail merge.

3rd party tools such as emailtemplates (www.emailtemplates.com) may meet
your needs. sperrysoftware.com and mapilab.com may have addins available as
well. Otherwise, you'll need to use mail merge.

Default E-Mail Templates in Outlook 2003

Hi Maria,

What you are looking for is a third party add-in for Outlook which can help
you send personalized mass emails. There are many add-ins for this purpose
on the market. For example you can use Easy Mail Merge. You can find it at
this link: http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/mail_merge.html
