Does anyone know how to limit apointment reocurances for recources in
outlook/exchange? The request is: When making a recurring meeting request and booking a resource such as a room (from the list in the GAL) we want to force the limit of recurrance to say a month. So users cant book a room every wednesday at noon forever, need to limit the resouces to only accept recurring bookings for say a month. Exchange 2000, office 2000, XP and 2003 Anyone? Thanks in advance. |

the only thing that I have found has been o the client side. there are registry keys that you can add that change teh default in outlook from no end date to a set time

MORE INFORMATION When you create a new calendar appointment and click the Recurrence button, the "Range of recurrence" defaults to "No end date." You can change the default to a number of days after which the default recurrence will end. When the user opens the recurrence dialog box, the end date will be the current date plus the number of days set. Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system.
