Hi,
My out of office assistant is sending out multiple messages to the same email address. I thought it was only supposed to send out one message to each unique email address. Any idea why this might be happening? -- Thanks, Sam |

I do have rules defined... Is that what's causing it? Can I not set who's
going to get notified and still be able to send out only one message? I defined a rule because I didn't want to send an Out of Office notice to outsiders. My rules limits it to everyone in the GAL. Can I not then limit my notification to just one per unique email? -- Thanks, Sam "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" wrote: In , Sam typed: Hi, My out of office assistant is sending out multiple messages to the same email address. OOF is all or nothing at all. I have never had good luck running it with rules, but I suspect they are your problem. If you don't want OOF to reply to outsiders, note that by default E2k/2003 do not allow OOF to the Internet - and someone has evidently enabled that, if you are on either of those versions of Exchange. You might talk to your exchange admins. Meanwhile, test without rules defined and see what happens. Then try adding in rules, but exercise caution in their creation.
