I have a user who is using Outlook 2003 with POP since our Unix-based
e-mail system doesn't provide a MAPI client for 2003. Others have Outlook 2000 with the MAPI client installed. The Outlook 2003 user will send an email in HTML or rich text and the outlook 2000 users will get either chinese or a series of "boxes". This seems to come and go and we can't figure it out. He has tried using Word as editor and that didn't help. He now has to send everything in plain text. Interestingly, I have the Google sidebar which I have set up to display emails. The ones from him show up correctly in this app but not in Outlook. Thanks for your help! |
