Hi everybody,
When I reply to an e-mail, is it possible that the original e-mail can be deleted automatically as I no longer need it. I am open the a VBA solution if necessary. Many thanks, Céline |

If you are using Outlook 2007 this should work. It may work for previous versions as well.
Make sure you are in your In Box Select the Tools Menu and select options Click on the Send Tab Uncheck Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder. Click on Apply and then the OK buttons -- Jason Windows Vista RC1 Build 5600 MS Office 2007 B2TR "Céline Brien" wrote in message ... My previous post was for Outlook Express, This is for Outlook 2007, Sorry,
Select Tools and click options Under the Preferences Tab, click on E-mail Options button Uncheck the box in front of Save Copies of messages in Sent Items Folder Click OK and then Click OK again. That should work for Outlook 2007 and possible 2003. -- Jason Windows Vista RC1 Build 5600 MS Office 2007 B2TR "Céline Brien" wrote in message ... She didn't say she wanted to delete the outgling message, she said she wanted to delete the original message to which she's replying. -- Brian Tillman |
