Default Microsoft Outlook receiving Hotmail.

Hi, Ihave set this up myself before but i cant remember how to get my hotmail
messages through Microsoft Outlook 2000. when it asks me what my incoming and
outgoing servers are, i draw a blank. can anyone help.. maybe a small idiots
guide. pleeeez

I don't think Outlook supports that. Outlook Express does.

However, if you go to Hotmail, maybe they can tell you.

Since hotmail is primary an "http" type web mail service, the mail servers
would be an http: address.

Have you tried the help files? Or MS KB?

Outlook 2000 cannot connect to Hotmail, except as a web page.

Hotmail doesn't have POP3 and SMTP servers anymore. It's all WebDAV
access now via HTTP. You'll have to *pay* to get access from a local
client; otherwise, you're stuck with their webmail-for-dummies
interface.
