Hi,
I want to import my mail-folders, mails, adressbook, calender from Evolution to Outlook 2003. How can I do this? I have the mails in *.mbox format. The Adressbook is in *.vcf format, but Outlook is not able to import it fully, it just imports the first contact and then stops. Calender is available in format *.ics, *.csv, *.rdf How can I import all the stuff? Thanks for your help! Greetings, Basil |

Google will help you find the many postings that reference how to transfer mbox format message stores to Outlook. The Adressbook is in *.vcf format, but Outlook is not able to import it fully, it just imports the first contact and then stops. Use Notepad to break your monolithic vcf file into one vcf file per contact. Calender is available in format *.ics, *.csv, *.rdf How can I import all the stuff? FileImport or ExportImport from a file or program. -- Brian Tillman |

Hello,
thanks for your response. I was able to import all messages. But: (1) How can I break the complete "monolithic" contact file into seperate vcards with Notepad? (2) I can't import the calender, it says the files is corrupt? |

You should see repeating patterns of data within the file and you should be able to copy each repeating group to a separate file. (2) I can't import the calender, it says the files is corrupt? Which of the several file types you mentioned won't import. Exactly what options for import are you choosing? -- Brian Tillman |

Hey Brian,
I can't import the calender. It is in *.ics (ICalender) Format. Outlook should import it, but it doesn't. I am using "Import - Import Calender". It says the file is corrupt or damaged. I think there is something wrong with the syntax that Evolution creates. Thanks for your help! Greetings, Basil |
