SHARED CALENDAR - OPERATION FAILED ERROR
Outlook 2003 / XP Pro SP2 / Exchange Server 2003 SP2 /
Windows Server 2003 One of our users is having a problem trying to "Label" appointments for one of her assignments. The first time she applies a color label to an appointment, it works just fine - but the next time she tries to apply a color label to an appointment, she gets "Operation Failed." Sometimes the color coding takes anyway, but it's annoying. Closing Outlook and reopening it will allow her again to add a single label without error, but then it follows the same pattern. I hope someone can steer us in the right direction - could it be a permissions issue somewhere in the assignment's Outlook? (We had a similar "Operation Failed" problem trying to print the Day View of a shared calendar and that was due to the Notes and Tasks being selected on the print layout - but the secretary didn't have specific permissions to Notes and Tasks.) Any and all input will be hugely appreciated!! Thanks! |

In oups.com,
typed: I don't know what you mean by PF (sorry) - but she has editor permissions for his calendar, if that helps. Sorry, I thought you meant she was using a public folder (PF). You meant that she is a delegate on this other person's mailbox. Does the mailbox owner have the same issue with this calendar?
