Default How to Disable Junk Mail Filter Outlook 2003

I recently reloaded XP and Office 2003 on my computer. My email is a POP3
account. I also use Norton Antispam for spam.

Previously, there were no messages going into the Junk Mail folder. Now
there are. Some of the messages in the Junk Mail folder have even been
marked by Norton as spam. I have set Outlook to "No Automatic Filtering"
but message are still being put in that folder. Norton still will put some
messages into the Norton Antispam folder also. Note I am not getting false
positives or negatives.

I do not want to have to look at two different folder to check for
spam\junk. How can I get Outlook to only allow Norton to filter junk mail
and not use the Junk Mail folder?

TIA
Walter

Go to Tools -- Options.

On the first tab, click the Junk Email button.

Choose the first radio button -- "No automatic filtering"

This will turn off Outlook's junk filter and not interfere with Norton.
Double-check the manual to see if Norton requires that option to be
on.
