can there not be mutiple users on outlook?
 
I am logged in on my name but when I try to send email from outlook (trying
to figure out how to use it) it says its coming from my husbands email?

Create separate "Identities" - check help.

Outlook does not use Identities, it uses profiles, depending on the version
and mode, neither of which the OP provided.
