Ok, i was tired of using outlook express as my default newsreader so i
decided to try and figure out how to use outlook 2003 as my new default newsreader. I used the built in help with outlook2003, by dragging the new button to the go menu, instead i accidently palced it on that same menu line that seems stantard with all windows programs. ( file menu view ect.) after doing this and clicking the new button it poped up a new folder window listing files and such so i thoght i would go delete the news menu item thing and start over, to my dismay the dragable news button is missing. i can longer find it. How do i get it back?? --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. well that is weird when i went back the first time to retry putting the news
button into the go menu item it was not there. after a few minutes i return and the "news" is back. so problem solved sorry for the mishap.i do have another question. after getting all that to work it appears outlook 2003 uses outlook express for the ews reader. i was hoping that 2003 would have its own reader with some new looks/layout. does 2003 have a new reader with a new look/layout?or is it supposed to use outlook express as the news reader? i would like to uninstall outlook express, but if i am stuck with it i guess than, i have no choice. am i safe to delete outlook express in hopes that outlook2003 has its own new reader? --- avast! Outlook has always used Outlook Express for its news reader.

It is a common misperception - you are not alone. And you are welcome.
