Default Lost the button for the newsreader outlook 2003

Ok, i was tired of using outlook express as my default newsreader so i
decided to try and figure out how to use outlook 2003 as my new default
newsreader.

I used the built in help with outlook2003, by dragging the new button to the
go menu, instead i accidently palced it on that same menu line that seems
stantard with all windows programs. ( file menu view ect.)

after doing this and clicking the new button it poped up a new folder window
listing files and such so i thoght i would go delete the news menu item
thing and start over, to my dismay the dragable news button is missing. i
can longer find it.

How do i get it back??

well that is weird when i went back the first time to retry putting the news
button into the go menu item it was not there. after a few minutes i return
and the "news" is back.

so problem solved sorry for the mishap.

i do have another question. after getting all that to work it appears
outlook 2003 uses outlook express for the ews reader. i was hoping that 2003
would have its own reader with some new looks/layout.

does 2003 have a new reader with a new look/layout?or is it supposed to use
outlook express as the news reader?

i would like to uninstall outlook express, but if i am stuck with it i guess
than, i have no choice. am i safe to delete outlook express in hopes that
outlook2003 has its own new reader?

Outlook has always used Outlook Express for its news reader.

It is a common misperception - you are not alone. And you are welcome.
