Default Test Account Settings in office outlook 2003 sp2

Hello

I have Office Outlook 2003 sp2. I use xp home sp2.

I cannot test the Test Account Settings. In office outlook 2003 sp2 tools
emial accounts view or change existing email accounts change test

account settings i get the attached error message.

How can I get the test account settings to work successfully ? Thank you.

Are you using a 3rd party personal firewall program? The reason that I ask
is that you might have to allow outbound communications.

No one is going to open unsolicited attachment. Post the text of the error
message if you need assistance.

You do not have to open the attachment if you think it is unsoliocited but
others might . They will only be too happy to help.

Attachments are not welcome in a group that does not have the term
"binaries" in its title. I am just cautious enough to NOT open unsolictied
attachments in a group without "binaries" in the title. YMMV. I prefer to
err on the side of caution since many attachments can be malicious.
