Changing View For Public Folders
Hello,
I am looking for a way to change the view of the Public Folders from the default Detail view to a custom Icon view. If anyone knows of a way to accomplish this, I would be greatly appreciative. One of our customers is looking to have this setup. Thanks. -b |
Changing View For Public Folders
To force users to see a custom view when they open a public folder:
-- Create the custom view, choosing the "On this folder, visible to everyone" option. -- Choose View | Current View | Define Views. Select the desired view, and click Publish. At the bottom of that dialog, check the box for "Only show views created for this folder." -- On the folder's Properties dialog, on the Administration tab, select your view as the Initial View on Folder. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx wrote in message oups.com...
