why do i get error 0x80042108 ?

I have uninstalled McAfee and replaced it with another anti-virus program
(AVG)Now I get the error message 0x80042108 when I click Send/Receive.

Uninstalling McAfee can be difficult. Check with McAfee support site for
add'l help. Meantime, have you checked your startup files for leftovers you
