How do I synchronize external e-mail with outlook

I created the contact on the exchange server and specify the external e-mail
address. I can receive the e-mails forwarded from the internal accounts.
How do I synchronize e-mails on my Laptop with the ones on the desktop.
If I delete e-mails while I am out of office, they must be deleted on the
server.

Are you using an Exchange account on the laptop as well? What version of
Outlook?
