Add Comment Field to Outlook Messages Flagged for Follow Up.
Many times when you flag a message for follow up, you find yourself wondering
whether you will remember the details of what you are supposed to follow up on, especially when the follow-up date is more than a few days out. Adding a comment field to the "Flag for Follow Up" dialog box that would allow you to jot down some brief notes on future actions would make the follow-up feature infinitely more useful. The comment field should be user-selectable for display in the "Reminders Window" and the folder pane (the Inbox pane, in most cases). ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Add Comment Field to Outlook Messages Flagged for Follow Up.
Diane,
Thanks for your response. How would I go about typing something in the field? I'm using Outlook 2003. I don't see any place to type anything.
