We have two SBS servers at different locations. One came with SBS2003
preinstalled, and the other I did the hard way, installing SP1 manually. On the Dell preinstalled guy, you can install Outlook from the ClientAp folder on any workstation without it asking for the CD key. I assume it assumes you are just using one of the 60 licenses we have. It came with Outlook already installed in the ClientAp folder, btw. The other server, the one I did, did not install Outlook in the CA folder, so I just copied the contents of the CD into the folder. When you try and install Outlook, it does ask for the CD key. I guess I can see I missed a step when copying Outlook to the CP folder. No big deal, but just curious what step I need to do. The CD I copied into the CA folder is the one that came with the SBS package orginally, so it all legal and everything. Thanks for some education ... John |
