This only started happening a few months ago. I am wondering if there was an update to Nortons or the Outlook programs which causes this problem? If so, how is it corrected without turning off the firewall and putting my computer at risk?? I had a similar problem with a POP3 account and was able to get around it by going into Norton's firewall settings and making the pop3 address a trusted site. ie"pop3.*****.net" If it is the best way to handle the problem, I don't know. I had used this pop3 account for years without listing it as a trusted address in Norton's. I don't have any idea as to why it changed. |
