Clickable links that arrive in email-OutLook don't work. Help!
I'm new to using Outlook, having used Netscape for too many years to count. I
can't get the clickable links that arrive in the body of email messages to work. This is especially a problem when the email arrives from, for example, a magazine subscription and the link clickable link is a word, such as 'laptops', or 'handbags', etc., instead of displaying the actual www address. Is there a setting I can change, or is this just the way it is? |

Thanks for responding, Diane. I'm using the 2000 version of Outlook; its
part of my Microsoft Office 2000. I never used the Outlook portion of the package, as I had Netscape to manage my email. Now I need to use Outlook for compatibility reasons. To answer your queston about which folder the email are in.....they're in the 'inbox'. Interestingly, the email notice that I received telling me that someone (you) had replied to my plea for help contained a clickable link, to get me to your answer. Of course, the clickable link wouldn't work and so I had to send the email to another email address, a member of my family who still uses Netscape, so I could read your reply. Frustrating.
