Default How could I temporally disable auto record e-mail address?

Hi,

As stated in the subject, how could I temporally disable Outlook 2003 from
record sent out e-mail recipients?

I use Outlook 2003 as the email client for distributing subscribed
newsletters, and after each distribution, I had to manually delete
recipient's email address stored by Outlook since I normally don't send
emails to them.

Thanks for your help.

The only "storing" Outlook does is in the autocompletion cache. Why not
just turn off autocompletion?

Click ToolsOptionsE-mail OptionsAdvanced E-mail Options and uncheck
"Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields".

Hi,

Thank for your suggestion.

Do you mean that I should turn off auto-completion when sending merged mails
for those newsletters or...??

I do wish to use auto-completion under normal circumstances, except when I
used Word 2003 and Outlook for mail merge function to distribute
newsletters.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Shall I do this when I distribute newsletters with
Outlook 2003 and Word 2003 using mail merger, or it is meant to disable
suggestion?

My wish is to temporally disable Outlook from storing e-mail recipients
email address during the mail merger process using Outlook and Word, and
after that, back to normal states.

Is it possible?

You can just turn it off temporarily when you're sending to addresses you
don't want stored.

The option I suggested controls the operation of the autocompletion cache to
disabling that option prior to running the merge should prevent the resolved
addresses from being added to the autocompletion cache.
