Have you unchecked the option to have your AV check incoming/outgoing mail?
It is a useless feature since incoming mail is checked by your real-time on access scanner when opened and if you are relying on outgoing scanning to catch infected mails, you are about 2 steps too late. You are already infected so anything going out will carry what you already have active on your entire OS, not just mail. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. That's explained in every article that describes a hotfix. None are available for download. Still getting duplicates BUT I do notice they seem to not happing in INBOX, but when RULES have been applied and they are sent to another folder (Not junk or delete folders). Ideas??? Supposed a rule's condition matches a message and that rule caused the messages to be moved to a folder. Outlook does so. This continues until all rules have been processed. Outlook stops processing, but you now have a copy left in the Inbox in addition to the one that was moved. Duplicate mails are caused by many problems, not JUST the "stop processing
more rules." See the Microsoft Knowledge Base Library where there are articles about duplicates being caused by too short polling intervals, anti-virus or firewall applications scanning your incoming/outgoing mail, etc. It would be nice if there were only ONE problem that caused duplicate emails but this is the real world where Murphy's law rules the land. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
