Folder views won't stay

Folder views in new folders changes randomly. Incoming view changes suddenly
to Sent view and visa versa. This is most annoying and compells me to have
all views combined Incoming-Sent views.
I can fix it for a while by starting outlook.exe /cleanviews but the cure is
only short term.
What is wrong with the stability of outlook folder views?

I'd start with a new mail profile.

This is hopeless.
Nothing works - not even profile change.
Suddenly the folders under Sent start looking like Incoming folders in spite
of previous field selections.
I have no Exchange Server but my pst-files are in another server, not in my
conputer.
Could this cause the random changes in views?

It shouldn't, but network-hosted PSTs are strictly unsupported and are
subject to damage, so who knows?

Unsupported - not for customer needs but fot Microsoft wanting to compell us
to take the expensive Exchange Server instead. A small company doesn't need
it.
One reason for view distortions may be this:
When I mail messages outside my office (like this), I often mail a secret
copy to my working address.
Then in the office I move this message from the Incoming folder to the Sent
folder. This may puzzle the view creator.

Nope. Network read/write protocols are different than those used for local
read/write and less than ideal for PST manipulation.

So what? Difference doesn't make it impossible. It's the matter of will and
purpose.
PST-file is a monster. It should be split into several files.
We use Schedule in our small office because the calendar file is separate
and can be shared.

Obviously you don't have a clue.

That certainly is a debatable point. There are many approaches Microsoft
could have taken for how the data store could have been designed. They
chose that exists. I can't imagine they'd change it at this late date.
