my pst file is corrupted and told to run scanpst.exe. i did but no results. is there any other way to fix pst and recover emails and contacts.

As it is not mention here that which outlook version? & what is the exact error message you are getting in accessing your PST file. It is good you have already run Scanpst.exe but you have mentioned that no results were found.
