How to Suppress Attachment View
I'm not a very experienced PC/Outlook user. I mainly use Macs. I have a problem I could use help with.
I need to know how, in Outlook, to prevent attached documents in an incoming e-mail from trying to render a display of that document in the body of the message. That is, just leave it as an attachment. Period. I have a UNIX server that sends out e-mails to people with PDF files attached. Some of these people say that all they see is a bunch of gibberish in the body of the e-mail where their e-mail client tried to translate the PDF. Other people have no problem and the PDF attachment arrives fine. I've found a way in Microsoft Entourage, which I use on my Mac, to suppress the attempted rendering of the attached document. Any ideas? Thanks. |
