I Would Like To Rebuild My Outlook PST File - What Are The Steps Please?
At present my Outlook PST file is just under 2.5GB. It is running fine, but I don't believe that the file size is correct and so it may be taking up a lot of extra space unnecessarily.
At one point it was only 500MB in size and since then the total amount of old email messages I have saved hasn't changed much. But I have been using the file for a long time and I believe that something might be wrong with it in the sense that it never actually deletes old mails and attachments somehow even though I empty them from the trash periodically. What I was wondering if there are simple steps I can follow to rebuild the file where nothing will be lost and potentially I end up with a new PST file which is much smaller in size and contains all the mails that are in there now?
